The Equality Register
Hardies were registered as a Member of The Equality Register in August 2016 having met all legislative compliance.
Living Wage Accreditation
In April 2016 Hardies was re-accredited as a Scottish Living Wage Employer.
Green Deal Advice Organisation
In June 2014 Hardies became an accredited Green Deal Advice Organisation having demonstrated, by independent assessment compliance and competence as Green Deal Assessors.
Green Apple Environment Award
Hardies were awarded the Scottish National Green Champion Award along with Kingdom Housing Association for Environmental Best Practice.
The Green Apple Awards were launched in 1994 and they are one of the few RSA-accredited campaigns chosen as an automatic feeder scheme for British entries into the Brussels-led European Business Awards for the Environment. The Station Court, Pittenweem project may yet be chosen to represent Scotland in the European awards.
The Building Good Employer Guide 2016
The prestigious “Building Good Employer Guide” identifies the very best companies to work for in the construction industry based on key factors such as employee benefits, diversity and leadership.
Hardies have once again been successful in achieving a place in the Building Good Employer Guide.
NHS Healthy Working Lives
Hardies achieved the Gold Healthy Working Lives Award and Commendation Award for Mental Health in August 2013 and were re-accredited in April 2017.
The Big Green Footprint Scheme
Hardies is an Ambassador of The Big Green Footprint Scheme. This initiative supports the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust in its delivery of conservation and environmental improvements throughout Fife.
BSI ISO 9001:2008 Re-accreditation
In June 2016 Hardies achieved re-accreditation of the ISO 9001:2008 standard, which it originally secured in 1996. Hardies conformed 100% to the requirement of the internationally recognised standard, when independently assessed by the leading global provider of standards and certification body, British Standards Institution (BSI). ISO 9001:2008 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, maintained by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
BSI ISO 14001:2004
In June 2016 Hardies achieved accreditation in the ISO: 14001 standard. Hardies conformed 100% to the requirement of the internationally recognised standard, when independently assessed by the leading global provider of standards and certification body, British Standards Institution (BSI). ISO 14001:2004 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems, maintained by the International Organisation for Standardisation.
The Association for Project Safety
In March 2016 Hardies was admitted as a registered practice of the Association for Project Safety having demonstrated , by independent assessment compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and competence in the terms of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 to practice as CDM Co-ordinators.
In February 2016 Hardies achieved reaccreditation to SAFE Contractors in recognition of reaching the SAFE Contractor health and safety standards.
In February 2016 Hardies were accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current basic health and safety legislation.
Constructionline (Register of Pre-Qualified Construction Services)
In September 2016 Hardies, having met pre-qualification requirement appropriate to public and private sector procurement, were re-accredited under the Constructionline scheme.
Sunday Times - Best Companies 2017 - "One to Watch"
Each year Best Companies and the Sunday Times celebrate the best small, mid and large size workplaces in the UK. Employees from participating organisations are interviewed based on rigorous methodology. This enables Best Companies to compile a list of the top organisations in each size category which the Sunday Times then publish.
Build - Heavy Construction, Equipment & Machinery Awards 2017
Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has won both the Best Construction Consultancy Firm – Scotland and an Excellence in Project Management award in Build magazine’s 2017 Heavy Construction, Equipment & Machinery Awards.
