The project involved the provision of seven individual flats over 4 storeys sub-divided from a former nursing home. There is a shared landscaped garden and communal car-parking area. The completed building was fully refurbished and consists of 4 one bedroom flats, 2 two bedroom flats and 1 three bedroom flat. The properties on the ground floor and lower ground floor are accessed individually while the flats on the first and second floor levels are accessed from a communal staircase complete with door entry system. The existing building is not listed but is situated in a conservation area so every effort has been made to retain some of the original features of the building. The ground floor flat retains the existing ornate cornice feature and the lower ground floor flats had their existing timber window shutters reconditioned and refitted. All flats are fitted with modern kitchen units and appliances and all bathrooms and en-suites are fitted with high specification sanitary ware and tiling.
