Hardies Property & Construction Consultants in Dunfermline has appointed two new members of staff, as well as promoting two existing surveyors into more senior roles, following a period of sustained business growth.
The two new appointments see Phil Walker, who has previously worked with JB Bennett Construction and Morrison Construction, take up the position of quantity surveyor and Gordon Howie assume the role of principal designer and health and safety advisor.
Howie, who lives in Edinburgh, worked as an architect with AMA Architects in the earlier stages of his career before moving into construction health and safety and his latter role with CMist.
Meanwhile, Stewart Arbuckle, who has been with Hardies for 13 years, has been promoted from associate building surveyor to senior associate building surveyor, and Graham Rolfe has been promoted from senior quantity surveyor to associate quantity surveyor.
Danny McArthur, partner at Hardies Dunfermline office, said: “As a major firm in the industry it is vital for us to continually develop our staff and to bring in new talent to keep up with the growth of the firm.
“The promotion of Stewart and Graham is very well deserved. Both are long standing and highly respected members of our team.
“I am also delighted with the new appointments of Phil and Gordon. They are joining the firm at a very exciting time whereby new doors and opportunities are presenting themselves all the time as Hardies become more recognised as big players with big capabilities and reach.
“We are fast becoming the ‘go to firm’ of choice.”
Hardies Dunfermline is currently involved with a number of projects across Scotland and recently completed work on the major refurbishment and extension of Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire.Back to News
