Hardies Property & Construction Consultants in Dalkeith are reaping the benefits of their move to new premises a few months ago.
They have relocated to the historic Grade A Listed Dalkeith Corn Exchange, redeveloped earlier in the year by Melville Housing Association, who themselves are now based in the same building.

Shepherd Chartered Surveyors said yesterday it had merged with Hardies, one of Scotland’s largest multi-discipline property and construction consultancies.
The two firms now form a practice with combined turnover of £25 million and employing about 350 people.
Shepherd, which has 33 offices throughout Scotland, and Hardies with 14, will keep their own identities.
A spokesman for the enlarged group insisted it was a merger rather than a takeover, though Shepherd’s partners have a controlling interest.
