Hardies Property & Construction Consultants, first formed in 1913, prides itself on its vast history and expertise. The practice up until its merger with J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors in 2016, was one of the largest independent surveying firms in Scotland offering a full spectrum of surveying services. This merger saw Hardies becoming the ‘construction arm’ and Shepherd’s becoming the ‘valuation and commercial arm’ of the group. Combined the practices operate from 41 offices across the UK. In 2022 in a strategic move, the firm expanded its operations across the UK with new offices opening in England and N. Ireland. The firm intends to grow its office network to fulfill its USP of having local offices providing local knowledge and expertise.
