Hardies appoints new Head of Retail
Scottish based Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has appointed Natalie James (pictured above) as Head of Retail for the UK, operating from its new Leeds office.
Experienced in project management, quantity surveying and Construction Health & Safety, with transferrable leadership skills to drive successful teams, Mrs James is a collaborative and determined construction professional with a passion for driving innovation and improvement at pace and with precision.
Having started her career as QS in a Quantity Surveying practice, she joined ASDA 12 years ago as project manager before moving to its property construction Health & Safety team.
Of her appointment at Hardies, Mrs James said: “I’m delighted to oversee Hardies’ rapidly expanding retail division across our 13 strong office network throughout the length and breadth of the UK.
Having identified the changing landscape of the post-pandemic retail sector as an area ripe for growth, with pent-up demand for innovation in the build environment, Hardies is already generating large volumes of work in retail consultancy services across the UK. Leeds is one of three new offices across the UK announced by Hardies last month, the other two being Belfast and London, taking its office network to 13 locations.
