Associate Level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor
An Opportunity for Energy Assessors to join a fast-growing and ambitious sustainability and energy consultancy team, that will constantly provide you with exciting and varied opportunities across a wide range of projects. The role will be a mix of site and office-based work. Experience of Designbuilder software is preferable.
As a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor, your main duties and responsibilities will be
- Preparing SBEM Calculations
- Conducting and completing Non-Domestic Energy Assessments
- Undertaking Section 63 Assessments and preparing DECs
- Modelling buildings using Designbuilder software
- Providing energy consultancy to internal and external clients on regulatory issues and energy efficiency opportunities
- Developing new and enhancing existing client relationships
To be considered for this Non-Domestic Energy Assessor role, you will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor
- Be an accredited Level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor
- Experienced in using Designbuilder
- Possess or be willing to attain Section 63 Advisor & DEC accreditation
- Built environment or construction experience or background
- A passion for energy efficiency and sustainability
- A desire to extend knowledge and expertise into other areas of energy efficiency
Skills Required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- IT competent
- Microsoft Office systems
- Knowledge and understanding of construction methodology
- Attention to detail and good observational skills
- Solution based approach to problem-solving
