Michael leads all Housing Services activity within Hardies across Scotland and has over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Specialising in unlocking difficult development opportunities and providing all pre-construction services Michael is well versed in land assembly, the acquisition of brownfield sites, carrying out development appraisals and feasibility assessments to demonstrate project viability. Michael has a proven record of delivering many Regeneration projects in challenging locations throughout the country.

Michael has a detailed knowledge of all housing tenures and their funding models and will manage the project from the outset leading the design team through the delivery of the various consents and technical approvals supplemented with risk assessments, value engineering, and all other activities required to facilitate a site start. Michael possesses excellent programming skills and will control the pre-commencement programme. Michael also possesses the soft skills for stakeholder management and community consultation as required.

Michael is an expert in all major forms of Contract and will procure all the relevant Contract documents required for the project including value for money analysis on any tendered sums and any funding applications required.
