The Higgs Centre for Innovation
Hardies (formerly Allan & Hanel) were employed to provide Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for a new space and “big data” technology innovation centre. The new building was built within the Grade A listed Royal Observatory Site in Edinburgh and was commissioned in honour of Professor Peter Higgs, the British scientist and Nobel Prize winner.
The project included a 1500m2 new build facility which includes a Data Visualisation Suite, ISO 4 to 7 cleanrooms, Business Incubation Units, academic offices, student offices, collaborative working spaces and a café.
