Building Surveying

Hardies have a long-established and experienced building surveying department that functions across multiple offices in Scotland and across most sectors.  Our overarching priority is to strive to protect our clients’ interests whilst ensuring we add as much value to the overall process as we can. Ultimately, we achieve this through our extensive experience, technical skills, proactive attitude, people management, and relationship building.

Hardies has experience of working with multi-discipline teams on a range of complex developments; new build, extensions, refurbishment, and fabric repairs, involving both modern and historic forms of construction.  Hardies has a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and our team understands the mechanisms of large client organisations, as well as the demands of individual clients.  Our well-managed QA system ensures good time management is maintained throughout, effectively managing a client’s initial brief and their expectations throughout the project.

We pride ourselves on the importance of communication, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear and concise communications with all parties, whether it be at a technical level with the design team or contractors, or to convey the relevant issues to non-technical members of the team and client organisation.  Our teams have extensive commercial experience and possess good commercial awareness and business acumen, which can be applied to help clients achieve the best value.

Our building surveying team has a wealth of experience across the range of building surveying services and we would be delighted to discuss any requirements you may currently have.  We pride ourselves in offering a bespoke service that can be tailored to meet individual client’s requirements.
