At Hardies Property and Construction Consultants our graduate & trainee personal development and growth is as valued to us as it is important to them. Hardies have developed a Structured APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) Training Programme that provides all the training and resources in order to successfully pass the APC, with the support required from Senior Staff Members at Hardies.
We provide the training, learning opportunities & support throughout the structured training, in order to enable success in becoming a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Graduate Story: Rhiannon Hunter
Rhiannon Hunter graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying. During her time at University Rhiannon combined her study with additional work experience, most notably with the Scottish Lime Centre Trust and Historic Environment Scotland. Through this practical experience, Rhiannon gained valuable knowledge in the maintenance of Scotland’s traditional buildings.
Rhiannon joined the Edinburgh office in the summer of 2019 thereafter, she has moved to our Dunfermline Team. Through working with Hardies, Rhiannon has been involved in a wide variety of work types including transactional and project-based work. Survey production includes Schedules of Condition, Dilapidations and Building Surveys. Rhiannon has also been involved with Contract Administration duties and is currently assisting on a major retail development where Hardies are providing Project Management services. Through our Graduate Training Scheme Rhiannon is fully committed to completing her Assessment of Professional Competence to gain full MRICS status.
