Trump Turnberry

Hardies were appointed by the Trump Organization to provide Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Principal Designer and Clerk of Works Services on the major refurbishment and extension of Trump Turnberry, a 5 star hotel on the Ayrshire coast of Scotland. A Grade B Listed Building.

The project included the full strip-out and refurbishment of all 103 bedrooms including the full refurbishment of all corridors, front of house (bars/restaurants) areas and back of house areas. The works also comprised the full removal and replacement of all render to the entire building as well as replacement of all windows and dormer roofs. All MEP installations were fully replaced.

The Donald Trump Ballroom was also included as part of the work under a separate contract. The contract included the demolition of part of the hotel which provided some back of house services. This made way for the construction of a 500 person Ballroom (photo bottom left) and associated car parking.

Hardies also managed the FF&E and OS&E contracts as well as the landscaping and renewal of all tarred roads and carparks.

The hotel is now recognised as one of the finest hotels in Europe.
