Shaun Buchan joined Hardies in 2019 in the Dunfermline office as an Associate Building Surveyor, relocating to Edinburgh in 2021. Whilst offering services across all Building Surveying disciplines, Shaun is presently involved in facilitating national instructions and overseeing teams where Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Stock Condition Surveys and Asset Management Surveys are required. Report data, captured digitally onsite using state of the art of technology and software, is quickly integrated into Cost Management programmes, allowing immediate and accurate provision of budgets to Clients.

The ability to capture significant amounts of data quickly, but most importantly accurately and consistently, is an invaluable commodity to his Clients. Shaun has a strong logistical skill set allowing detailed planning to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Shaun has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 2005.
